Cyvitrix Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Cyvitrix collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit cyvitrix.com, use academy.cyvitrix.com, create an account, enroll in a course, purchase a product or membership, complete an assessment, contact support, or otherwise use a Cyvitrix service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: account, enrollment, order, support, review, assessment, certificate, and communication information that you voluntarily submit.

Transaction information: product, price, currency, transaction or order identifiers, payment status, subscription status, and refund records. Payment providers such as Stripe and Teachable process payment-card details; Cyvitrix does not intentionally collect or store full card numbers or security codes.

Technical and usage information: device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, page URLs and titles, session and interaction data, and events such as page views, clicks, checkout starts, add-to-cart actions, and purchases.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cyvitrix and its service providers may use first-party cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers to operate the service, remember settings, protect accounts, understand usage, and measure advertising performance. You can block or delete cookies through your browser, although some functions may then work differently or become unavailable.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, courses, memberships, assessments, purchases, certificates, and support; process orders, subscriptions, refunds, and related communications; secure the service and prevent fraud or abuse; understand aggregate usage, troubleshoot problems, improve content and user experience, and measure marketing effectiveness; send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications; and comply with legal, accounting, tax, dispute, and regulatory obligations. You may opt out of marketing messages without losing transactional communications.

5. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement

Cyvitrix uses Google Analytics 4 on its websites and Teachable-hosted checkout to measure visits, interactions, checkout activity, and purchases. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and pseudonymous identifiers and may receive device and browser data, approximate location information, page URLs and titles, and on-site or checkout events. Cyvitrix also uses the Google Analytics Measurement Protocol so Teachable can send server-side checkout and purchase events to the Cyvitrix Analytics property.

The Cyvitrix Google Analytics property is linked to a Cyvitrix Google Ads account. This permits conversion and campaign-attribution data to flow between Google Analytics and Google Ads, including through Google Ads auto-tagging. Personalized Advertising and Analytics audience sharing for this link are currently disabled; Cyvitrix is using the link for measurement rather than remarketing. Cyvitrix does not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, full payment-card data, passwords, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.

You can manage Google advertising settings at https://myadcenter.google.com/ and may use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics or advertising identifiers, Cyvitrix and its providers will seek or respect that consent and available choices.

6. Service providers and sharing

Cyvitrix does not sell or rent learner personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, learning delivery, checkout, payment processing, analytics, advertising measurement, email, security, and customer support, including Teachable, Stripe, and Google, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, complete a business transaction, or resolve a dispute.

7. Retention, security, and international processing

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account access, transactions, analytics, security, legal obligations, and disputes. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Cyvitrix uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Requests may be sent to support@cyvitrix.com. Cyvitrix may need to verify a request and may retain information where required by law or necessary for security, accounting, or disputes.

9. Third-party services and links

Third-party websites, apps, payment services, and marketplaces have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or integration does not make Cyvitrix responsible for a third party's independent processing.

10. Changes and contact
